Sussex County - Ryan Murphy of Glenwood and Matthew Comerford of Lake Hopatcong were recognized at Champlain College’s 128th commencement on May 6 in Burlington, Vt. Murphy, the son of Dan and Jean Murphy, earned a bachelor’s degree in software engineering. Comerford, the son of Timothy and Debbie Comerford, earned a bachelor’s degree in computer and digital forensics. Champlain is a private baccalaureate institution that offers professionally focused programs in business, technology and human services balanced by a liberal arts foundation. Kristy Kantenwein of Franklin and Stephen Oonan of Newton graduated from Bloomfield College in Bloomfield on May 25. Kantenwein received a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary/early childhood education - psychology. Oonan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in digital video. Founded in 1868 as a Presbyterian seminary, Bloomfield is an independent, four-year college with an enrollment of more than 2,200 students.
