Promising future in architecture forecast for Tech student

Sparta Sussex County Technical School has announced that senior Brittany Howell, a student in Computer Aided Drafting and Design and a resident of Hopatcong, has been awarded Sussex Tech’s Cooperative Education Student Recognition Award for the month of September. Howell's employer, Jason Nicholas, nominated her for this award because of her commendable work ethic, which sets an example for others to follow. Nicholas praises Howell for all of her positive traits, including punctuality, dedication and outstanding organizational skills. According to Nicholas, “Brittany is quite enthusiastic about learning about the world of architecture and is eager to communicate her design thoughts to clients.” Sussex Tech instructor Dianne Smit commends Brittany for excellence in all of her endeavors, remarking that Brittany displays professional habits and attitudes that translate into success in her entire course of study. Howell, who is an honors student, plans to enroll in the Architecture Program at New Jersey Institute of Technology, with hopes of operating her own architecture firm in the future.
