SCCC offers basic and intermediate computer classes

Newton - Corporate and Community Education of Sussex County Community College is offering “Essentials,” two six-hour computer software courses designed to teach participants how to work productively. Thee first of the one-day sessions, “Essentials of Microsoft Excel,” will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 24. The Attendees will learn how to: •Create a worksheet •Edit and format a worksheet with visual “punch” and exciting charts and graphics •Master an array of Excel formulas and functions “Intermediate Microsoft Excel” will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 31. It will move beyond the introductory topics learned in the first “Essentials” class to intermediate topics that include: •Integrating Excel with other Microsoft Office programs like Word and/or Access •Working with Excel list for data sorting •Developing and managing Pivot Charts Cost of the each class is $99 and includes handouts.
