Showing their colors

FREDON — First graders in Mrs. Laurie Sanders and Mrs. Brienne Stevenson’s classes at Fredon School are participating in an ongoing community project. Once a month, when they have Show and Tell, each student brings in one food item to place in their Community Helping Box. These items are then donated to the Sussex County Division of Social Services food pantry. The students not only share their favorite Show and Tell, but they also help in the fight against hunger in their community. The Fredon first-graders donate close to 50 food items every month.
