Sixth Annual Operation Santa Clause in Newton

NEWTON — Santa will be visiting Newton with the help of the Newton Fire Department on Saturday, Dec. 17, starting at 2:30 p.m. Santa will drop by homes to deliver gifts for a donation of $10 for the first child and $5 for each additional child. Participants will deliver a present to the #2 Fire House, located at the corner of Woodside and Lawnwood Ave. on Dec. 13-14 from 7-9 p.m. The gifts will then be delivered by the department on Dec. 17. Registration forms can be picked up at the Town Hall on Trinity Street in Newton or downloaded on the the town website, www.newtontownhall.org. Forms must be returned to Newton Fire Department by Dec. 12. For more information call 973-383-4746.
