Space-shuttle tech visits Kittatinny

NEWTON - Sharon Forster, a quality control technician at Howmet castings in Dover, visited a seventh-grade business and career exploration class at Kittatinny Regional High School recently. Foster spoke about her job duties, education, and employment opportunities in her chosen career at Howmet. Howmet, an Aloca business, manufacturers parts for NASA and the space shuttle, as well as tank engines, and helicopters. The business and career education program provides students with hands-on information about the multi-faceted careers available with local manufacturers.
