Sparta plays key role in filming of safety video

SPARTA - This past Friday, Sparta Volunteer Ambulance Squad aided in the production of an educational video that is being produced for the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration. The video will be used as a tool to educate drivers about the dangers of aggressive driving. The final program will be made available, nationally, to groups and corporations and will also be part of court ordered driving courses. Playing a key role in the video presentation is AVATAR Productions, an award winning television production company based in Sparta. Their work has taken them from Northern China, to Antarctica and can be seen regularly on the National Geographic Channel, A&E, Discovery and History Channel, to name a few. This time, right in their own back yard, AVATAR is responsible for providing production services in the making of this program.
