Hampton Kittatinny Day for the Developmentally Disabled was recently held at Kittatinny Regional High School in Hampton. Also known as K3D, this annual event, coordinated by special education teacher Janet Clough, brings together developmentally disabled adults affiliated with SCARC and approximately 150 high school students for a day of fun and fellowship. Student volunteers and their guests enjoyed crafts, bingo, a variety of gym activities, and dancing. Music for the dancing was provided by local DJ and teacher at the high school, Kirk Kandel. The Kittatinny cheerleaders gave a rousing performance in the auditorium and a special luncheon in the school cafeteria completed the day.
