Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs hosting YouthFest 2006

Vernon - The Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs (ANJRPC) is hosting YouthFest 2006 at its Cherry Ridge Range in Highland Lakes from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 6. The day is a series of events designed to safely familiarize young people, both non-shooters and new shooters, with the recreational opportunities presented by the shooting sports. Participants will learn the basics of firearm safety and be able to shoot shotguns and rifles under the supervision of NRA-certified instructors. A light breakfast and full lunch will be served and all equipment is provided. There is no charge for the event, which is open to young people aged 10 to 18. Pre-registration is required.
