Matt, who went 3 for 3, blasted a pair of solo homers, while Mike, who was 2 for 4, launched a solo shot as LVR upped its overall record to 13-5. Meerendonk allowed only one hit while Mike Ercolano was 2 fo3 3 at the plate, driving in two runs. Steve Myhren went 2 for 3, knocking in a run and scoring twice. Jefferson 20, Hopatcong 3 Manny Fanarjian and Mike Nimmo homered as Jefferson trounced Hopatcong 20-3 with Dan Macaluso scattering five hits in picked in up his third “W” in six decisions. High Point 15, PJ 5 High Point clinched a post-season berth in the NJSIAA playoffs when the Wildcats defeated Pope John 15-5 on Wednesday. Kyle Conklin won his second in four decisions while Ken Ken Witte doubled and singled in three official at bats, plating four runs. Mickey Scott singled three times, knocking in two runs and scoring four times.
