Day camp for the teen nature lover

    RINGWOD — From Tuesday, June 27 through Saturday, July 1 the Weis Ecology Center will offer five days of adventure learning and fun for youth entering grades 7 and 8 at the Trail Blazers Camp. The camp will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday; 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday for a field trip; 3 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday for an overnight camp out. Other camp dates are available for campers of other ages. The cost of Trail Blazers Camp is $199 per camper, with a $44 discount for members of the New Jersey Audubon Society. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
