    Lenape 7, Hopatcong 0 Lenape Valley's Allie Schubert earned SCIL Player of the Week honors in field hockey as she scored a hat trick and added an assist in a 7-0 rout of Hopatcong. Megan Cicchetti, who picked up two assists, opened the scoring six minutes into the game with Schubert recording an assist. Schubert scored twice within two and half minutes, Danielle Sangillo netted a goal, and Schubert completed her hat trick with 30 seconds remaining in the first half as the Patriots surged to a 5-0 lead. Sarah Edwards and Sangillo completed the scoring parade in the second half, while goalkeeper Samantha Markferding stopped seven shots to record the shutout. Jefferson 2, Pope John 1 (2OT) Jefferson edged Pope John 2-1 in double overtime when Melissa Adams scored seven minutes into the second OT period. Jessica Galfo boosted the Falcons into a 1-0 lead at 19:52 only to have the Lions' Meredith Harclerode knot the score with two seconds left in regulation. Newton 5, Vernon 0 Newton surged to a 5-0 lead by halftime, highlighted by Heather Connelly's 100th career goal, as the Braves defeated Vernon 5-0. Ashley Meisinger assisted on Connelly's two goals and also scored while Natalie Elvidge and Amy Keegan added goals. Wallkill 5, Sparta 2 Amanda Nann scored twice and distributed a pair of assists as Wallkill Valley rolled to a 5-2 win over Sparta. Carly Bargile, Lauren Sweller and Nicole Travolta added goals for the Rangers who improved to 4-1. Katherine Roddy gave the first-year Sparta team a brief 1-0 lead when she scored the first goal of the game at 11:30.
