Members of the Newton Braves high school hockey team led a series of after-school floor hockey clinics recently for the students at the Merriam Ave. Elementary School. The one-hour clinics were held from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on three successive Wednesday afternoons. They began with an indoor puck to build stick handling and passing skills. Participants then joined in a fun game with the high school players, including captain’s Derek D’Agostino, John Irmiter, Jonathan Miller and Justin Nunziato. (Photos provided)
