Ace Robert Romano had a hole-in-one at the Lake Mohawk Country Club in Sparta. Playing in a foursome with Mike Dalzell, John Degasperis and Patrick Horan, Romano finished his round by acing the 175-yard 18th hole with a five iron. Bowling Green Dolores Casale captured the first place prize in the Pro Partner - U.S. Open competition with a 139. Two strokes off the pace in second place was Joe Doheney, while Joe Alifante carded a 146 to place third.
