In the Cards Tony Torre, the vice president and general manager of the New Jersey Cardinals, aced the 133-yard second hole at Wild Turkey in Hardyston. Torre, who used a pitching wedge, was playing with his assistant general manager, Herm Sorcher, team accountant Chris Lynch and Bill Houghton. Hawn Lee scored the longest ace recorded this month by newjerseygolf.org when he scored a hole-in-one on the 230-yard fourteenth hole of Berkshire Valley in Jefferson. Playing with Lee, who hit driver, were Hyung Lee, Byung Oh and Sung Park. Bowling Green Champ Robert Zucconi won the Senior Championship crown at Bowling Green in Oak Ridge. Joe Alfonte picked up the runnerup prize. Flight B was won by Mo Cleary with Jeff Gernitis in second place.
