Health department to start walking club

WEST MILFORD — The West Milford Health Department in partnership with Chilton Memorial Hospital announces its first Family Walking Club. The club is open to families in West Milford and will take place at the West Milford High School track, on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8:30 p.m., beginning July 6 to August 10. Participants will receive a walking logbook and weekly health education materials. The goal of the Family Walking Club is to educate children and their families on the importance of exercise and proper nutrition and mostly making exercise fun.
