High Point swept the doubles competition but lost a 3-2 decision to Lenape Valley in a SCIL boys tennis match. The Pat Gardner and Jason McConville teamed to defeat Derek Pivko and Adam Soccio 6-1, 3-6, 7-6 (7-5) in a thrilling matchup of No. 1 doubles teams. The Schneider brothers, Kyle and Trevor, came on stronmg to defeat Ryan Humphries and Marty Nasenchuk 7-6 (7-2), 6-2 in the second doubles slot. Ed Cooke carded a nine-hole round of 40 but High Point dropped an SCIL golf match to Spart at the Minerals Golf Club. Steve Tack chipped in with a 41 while Keith DiSarno and Blaine Reddon shot 46s. Jim Abbott, Greg Case, Brian Konopka and Neil Kornulick drilled doubles for High Point dropped a 13-7 decision to Lenape Valley in a SCIL baseball game played in Wantage. In a SCIL softball game that went 15 innings, High Point fell to Lenape Valley 3-1. Lisa Bartone doubled for the Wildcats.
