Highland Lakes FD sets golf outing

Jefferson -The Highland Lakes Fire Department will be holding their first golf tournament on Oct. 12, at the Bowling Green Golf Club in Jefferson. The department plans to make this an annual event. The cost is $125 per golfer which includes the driving range, tee box lunch on the cart and dinner with unlimited beer and soda. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a 10 a.m. shotgun start. All registration forms and money are due by Sept. 25. All proceeds go to the 2007 Scholarship Fund. Registration forms are available online at www.highlandlakesfd.com.
