    In Minor League action, the Frogmore Blue Claws upended the PBA Local 138 Threshers, 5-4. After scoring 4 runs in the first inning, the Blue Claws were held to just one run in the bottom of the fifth inning. Evan Cartwright was brilliant with 7 strike outs in 3 innings. Dan Hosler smacked a double with the bases loaded in the first inning to knock in 3 runs. Frank Orlando of the Threshers had a triple his first at bat. The Threshers threatened a great comeback but fell short in the top of the six. In the Majors, the Panther Lake Mets fell to the Hopatcong Yankees, 6-2. Ryan Wohltman tallied two safeties and scored a run for the Mets. The Columbia Valley Cardinals fell to another Hopatcong opponent, 16-0. For the second week in a row, an unassisted triple play was pulled off in Instuctional League. Justin Chuk of the STS Mariners caught a fly ball, stepped on third and tagged a runner to end a threat by the Towne Toyota Pirates.
