‘Jammin' returns to Mountain Creek Jan. 6

Vernon - Mountain Creek and Ski Barn have announced the return of their popular event series, “Jammin‘ for Swag.” The low-key and fun competitions will be held on four Fridays at a “secret” location on the hill, to be announced at registration, one hour prior to the start. The first one will be held Friday, Jan. 6. The events are free and open to both skiers and snow boarders. They provide newcomers to the competition scene with a low-pressure way to test their skills. Prizes will be awarded to all participants. Registration will take place at 5 p.m. on the day of the event at the entrance to the Main Park on Vernon Peak. The competition will begin at 6 p.m. In addition to Jan. 6, “Jammin’ for Swag” events will be held Jan. 13, Feb. 3, and Feb. 17.
