The Lenape Valley Little League 50/70 All-Star team won the District 2 championship on June 29 to advance to the sectional tournament.
The team, made up of sixth- and seventh-grade players from Byram, Netcong and Stanhope, clinched the district title with a victory on Monday, June 29.
Lenape Valley will open sectional play against Ridgewood in a double-elimination tournament. The sectional champion will advance to the state tournament.
