Lenape Valley smothers Wallkill in high school football

HAMBURG — Lenape Valley Regional High School (Stanhope) defeated Wallkill Valley Regional High School in varsity football on Saturday, September 24. The Final score was 39-20. The game took place at Wallkill Valley Regional High School in Hamburg.
The Lenape Valley Patriots jumped all over the Wallkill Valley Rangers. Lenape Valley had a commanding lead by halftime on top 33-7. Wallkill Valley managed to stir up some excitement in the second half when receiver Alfred Boye-codjoe produced two big plays for scores. Boye-codjoe ran 60 yards after catching the ball for a touchdown and another long gain on the ground for 83 yards resulting in a touchdown.
Team records: Lenape Valley Patriots 2-1. Wallkill Valley Rangers 0-2.
