No. 6 Skylanders open with a "W"

Sussex County Community College's men's soccer program opened the 2005 campaign with a 3-0 shutout over Erie (NY) Community College in the opening round of the Cayuga Tournament in Auburn, N.Y. on Saturday. A member of the Garden State Athletic Conference, the Skylanders were ranked No. 8 in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III pre-season poll. Maurico Castillo netted the first Skylanderr goal of the season when he scored at 25:00 off an assist from Christian Mendez. In the second half, Castillo assisted on a goal by Joel Sewell at 45:25 with Rene Neal adding an insurance tally at in the 68th minutes with an assist from Josue Sanchez. Keeper Miguel Perez recorded the shutout when he came up with six saves.
