Sparta 10U girls Blue Diamonds take Babe Ruth championship

Sparta - The Sparta 10U Blue Diamonds softball team won the Babe Ruth North Jersey District 3 Championship held in Blairstown last month. They overcame a three to one deficit late in the final game to capture the championship by a final score of four to three over West Milford. After a successful season with an overall record of 38 wins with only 11 losses, the girls finished as the District Champions and then advanced on to the final game of the North Jersey State Championship.
