In Group II, Sparta scored 10 points in the final quarter to edge Lenape Valley 17-12 in Sparta. Ryan Skorupka, who carried 24 times for 134 yards, scored the both TDs on runs of 3 and 31 yards sandwich around a 39-yard field goal by Alex Bornichak who converted both PAT attempts. The fourth-seeded Spartans travel to Hillsdale in Bergen County to clash with the top-seeded Indians of Pascack Valley who blanked Dumont 20-0.
