Tala runs her streak to 17 at NJU

OGDENSBURG-Wallkill Valley alumna Junior Terez Tala of Ogdensburg, extended her streak of consecutive meets as the top female runner for New Jersey City University's women's cross-country team to 17, dating to the 2003 season, but Division I Saint Peter's College had the top five finishers overall and defeated the Gothic Knights, 15-40, in the year's first meet on Sept. 14 at Liberty State Park. Tala finished sixth overall in 10:18.10.
