Sparta football players are returning to the fields one again in preparation for the 2006 season. The league, which is comprised of six teams - Sparta Red, Sparta White, Sparta Blue, Sparta Gold, Sparta Black and Sparta Columbia Blue - will start official games on Sept. 9, with the first Monday night game at 6 p.m. on Sept. 11.
