Vikings conquer High Point

Zach Vonderinden rushed 25 times for 148 yards and scoring a pair of six-pointers on runs of 12 and one yards to key Vernon’s 21-0 triumph over High Point. Quarterback Dan Lisa, 7-for-11 passing for 118 yards, opened the scoring when he pitched a nine-yard TD strike to Mike Deutch in the second quarter.
