West Milford's Renee Edwards named NHC Player of the Week

Renee Edwards excelled to highlight West Milford’s 6-1 rout of Butler in a Northern Hills Conference field hockey match on Tuesday afternoon in Butler. Edwards was chosen the northernhillsconference.com Player of the Week after netting five of the six goals while teammate Krista Basile added a solo goal. Kristin Titchworth dished off a pair of assists with Meghan Babcock and Jamie Chalkley picking up assists. Goalkeeper Casey Monks came up with three saves. Later in the week West Milford and Montville battled to a scoreless draw on Saturday in West Milford. Casey Monks came up with a pair of saves as the Lady Highlanders built up an 18-2 advantage in shots on goal.
