Sparta - Pope John posted a runnerup finish in the Group II girls’ division of the 41st Annual NJSIAA Winter Track and Field Relay Championships contested at Jadwin Gym on the campus of Princeton University. Pope John’s team effort was fueled by a pair of gold-medal performances. The 1600-meter relay quartet of Carolyn Bieganousky, Alexandra Bush, Emily Carrolla and Rachel Posthumus raced to a first place finish in 4:07.68 while the foursome of Noelle Marra, Carolyn Bieganousky, Emily Smith and Sara Bieganousky won the 220-meter shuttle high hurdles relay in 35.52 seconds. 800-Meter Relay 20.
