Lenape Valley’s Paul Grogan set a new NJSIAA District II record for fastest pin when he decked Paul Linnartz of Hopatcong 10 seconds into their 112-pound quarterfinal round bout, eclipsing the old mark of 11 seconds over the weekend. Lenape Valley’s D.J. Russo remained unbeaten, upping his senior season mark to 37-0 and was chosen the Outstanding Wrestler of District II in the competition at Hopatcing In the District III tournament at Kittatinny, High Point’s John Scalise was chosen the Outstanding Wrestler while the Wildcats’ John Gardner was named Coach of the Year.
