Spring registration at SCCC

NEWTON — Registration for the spring semester at Sussex County Community College (SCCC) kicked off on Monday, Nov. 14, and was geared exclusively for returning students. This allows current SCCC students to sign up for classes before new or transfer students do, giving them the best chances of getting into required and desired classes. Returning students can enroll by logging on at my.sussex.edu. Registration for new and transfer students for the winter and spring semesters begins Nov. 28 and must be done in-person. Prospective students can apply online and view course offerings online. Counselors will help new students walk through the registration process. The Counseling and Advising Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The winter and spring schedules are now posted online at sussex.edu and on the course schedule page and in the student portal (my.sussex.edu). The winter semester at SCCC runs from Jan. 4-20. The spring semester begins on January 23. Registration for both semesters continues until the start of classes but students are encouraged to register early as many courses fill fast.
