St. Clare's names new members to its advisory board

    SUSSEX-St. Clare's Hospital/Sussex chief administrative officer Stephen Bocskocsky has announced that Dr. Kenneth Toner, Charles Blier, and Ronald Dolfi have been named to its Sussex Community Advisory Board, and that Jack Rizzo and Jennifer VanderWiele were reappointed. As members of the board, they volunteer their talent and time to help Saint Clare's Hospital fulfill its mission to serve the health care needs of area residents. Dr. Toner, a general surgeon with a practice in Vernon, earned his medical degree at State University of New York Medical School in Brooklyn, after graduating with a bachelor's in chemistry from St. John's University in Queens, N.Y. A member of the American Medical Association and the New Jersey Medical Society, he resides in Newton with his wife, Ruby, and their children, Francis and Kyle. Blier has served as vice president and general manager of Mountain Creek in Vernon since 1999, and in executive positions for Intrawest since 1997. A trustee of the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce and member of the Vernon Rotary government affairs committee, he also belongs to the National Ski Area Association. He earned a masters in business administration from McGill University in Canada and a bachelor of engineering from the General Motors Institute in Flint, Mich. He and his wife, Isabelle, and children, Charles and Flex, reside in Sussex. Dolfi, a banker for 35 years, is senior vice president of Newton Trust, Member Lakeland Bankcorp, based in Newton. He was initially appointed to the Wallkill Valley General Hospital Board (now Saint Clare's) in January 1988, and has been actively involved in numerous civic and service organizations in Sussex County for 30 years. He and his wife, Pamela, reside in Wantage. They have two grown children, Jason and Douglas.
