Stanhope nurse named Employee of the Month
Stanhope Maggie Rose, RN, of Stanhope, a skilled nurse at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey (CHNJ) at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC), was recently named Employee of the Month. Rose was singled out for her leadership on the unit during a customary inspection from state health officials. Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, an affiliate of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System, is a 673-bed regional referral teaching hospital with specialized programs including heart, kidney and pancreas transplantation, cardiac surgery, robotic surgery, oncology, and maternal/child health services. Newark Beth Israel is home to the Saint Barnabas Heart Center (at Newark Beth Israel) and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, the state’s premier hospital, caring for ill and injured children from newborn to adolescent years, including more than 30 pediatric specialties.
