Stanhope readies for annual egg hunt

    Stanhope - Borough residents ages 2 through third grade are invited to take part in Stanhope’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. More than 1,000 eggs have ben hidden by the Morris Canal Girl Scouts and other helpers for the 20th annual Stanhope Recreation Egg Hunt, which will take place at noon, Saturday April 1, at the Stanhope Valley Road School. Raindate for this event is April 8. Participants should bring their own bag or basket. Prizes will be awarded to contestants who find the winning eggs. “The Easter Bunny” will be there with goodie bags for all children. For more information, call 973-347-0159 ext. 39.
