State park plans children's programs
Andover Kittatinny Valley State Park has scheduled Cat-Tales Story Hour, a summer-long program series for four and five-year-olds. Children will spend mornings learning about a different animal each week through stories, show-and-tell, finger plays, and a craft. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Cat-Tales story hour will be held, rain or shine, on Thursdays, May 17 and 31, June 14 and 28, July 12 and 26, and August 9 and 23, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., at the visitor center. The center is located 1 mile north of Route 206, off Goodale Road, in Andover. These programs are free of charge, however pre-registrtation is required by 3:30 p.m. of the day prior to the program date, as space is limited.
