Newton - Sussex County Community College is offering “Kids on Campus,” a fun-filled summer enrichment program on the Newton campus, for children entering grades four through seven. Five one-week sessions will be conducted, beginning on June 26 and ending the week of July 24. “Kids on Campus” offers one class selection in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each selection runs for three hours - allowing plenty of time for instruction, action, and play. Parents may register their child for a morning, afternoon, or all-day session. Cost per session of “Kids on Campus” is $180 per child for full days or $90 per half-day. A lunch break is scheduled between the morning and afternoon sessions for all-day participants. Children may bring their own lunch or “Kids on Campus” offers an optional lunch program for an additional charge. “Kids on Campus” will offer a variety of activities from crafts to karate. Each child participating will receive a T-shirt. The college strives to keep camper - instructor ratios low, so space is limited and sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Instructors at the camp have either a current teacher certification or have completed a criminal background check. For more information or to register, call 973-300-2140 or log on to sussex.edu/cce/.
