Oct. 31 Stephanie Villarreal, 25, of Hamburg pled guilty to third degree theft. She admitted to assisting a co-defendant in the theft of an aluminum boat valued at $600 from a Hardyston Township resident. Ryan M. Manca, 29, of Franklin pled guilty to the third-degree crime conspiracy to possess a controlled dangerous substance, the disorderly persons offense of resisting arrest and the disorderly persons offense of being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted that on July 25, 2010 in Hardyston, he conspired with two other people in order to try to obtain heroin and that he also resisted arrest on that occasion. He also admitted to being under the influence of heroin on April 16, 2011 in Wantage Township. Gavin L. Tarsa, 22, of Wantage pled guilty to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to possessing a small amount of cocaine in Wantage on July 11, 2011. Edward J. MacDuff, 51, of Franklin pled guilty to third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to possessing 14 Xanax pills.
