    Sept. 20 Robert Slawson, 43, of Oak Ridge, was indicted by a grand jury on charges of observation of sexual contact, a third-degree crime, contempt, a third-degree crime, and criminal mischief, a third-degree crime. An indictment charges Robert Fedder III, 24, of Franklin, with certain person not to have weapon, a fourth-degree crime, and unlawful possession of weapon, a fourth-degree crime. An indictment charges Derek M. Scymanski, 22, with aggravated assault, a third-degree crime, and possession of weapon, a third-degree crime. A Grand Jury indictment is a charge only. The defendant is presumed innocent until guilt may be proved at a jury trial. Sept. 23 Greg Winterburn, 24, of Penargyl, Pa., was sentenced to two years probation, was ordered to serve 90 days of community service, attend parenting classes and continue to abide by a no contact order issued by the Court. He must submit to random urine monitoring, maintain gainful employment, pay total fines and penalties of $280 and submit a DNA sample at his expense. He pled guilty on June 27, 2011 to two counts of child abandonment, both crimes of the fourth degree. In pleading guilty, Winterburn admitted that he left his two children home alone for more than two hours on March 24, 2011 in Hopatcong. Sept. 26 Kevin M. Knarr, 20, of Hopatcong, pled guilty to criminal mischief, a third-degree crime. Nicole A. Linfoot, 23, of Vernon pled guilty to third-degree theft and third-degree possession of heroin. She admitted to taking jewelry from the home of a Vernon resident that she was staying with at the time as well as being in possession of heroin. May Anderson, 45, of Andover, pled guilty to theft, a fourth-degree crime. In pleading guilty, Anderson admitted that she took a check belonging to someone else after a refund check was sent to her address in Hopatcong that was intended for the previous tenant of the address. Jessica L. Geary, 30, of Franklin, pled guilty to theft, a third-degree crime. In pleading guilty, Geary admitted to taking jewelry from a home in Hardyston Township, where she had been helping as a cleaning person in December 2010. Devin Gallo, 20, of Sparta, pled guilty to three counts of fourth-degree theft and two counts of third-degree theft. In pleading guilty, Gallo admitted that on four separate occasions in Frankford and Sparta townships, she took money and checks from several victims between May 2010 and July 2011. She was previously enrolled in the Sussex County Pre-Trial Intervention Program but was terminated due to non-compliance. Justin Lazier, 25, of Vernon pled guilty to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, driving while suspended and driving while intoxicated. He admitted to possessing two bags of heroin and having driven under the influence of heroin on July 16, 2011 during the course of a motor vehicle stop by Vernon Police Officer Shaun Fitzgerald. James M. Miranda, 28, of Milford, Pa., pled guilty to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to possessing 36 bags of heroin during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Sept. 25, 2007 by New Jersey State Trooper J, Serrano. Sept. 28 Vincent J. Russomanno III, 30, of Hardyston pled guilty to 18 counts of third-degree burglary. He admitted to entering 18 cars throughout the Hamburg, Hardyston and Vernon area and removing GPS systems and cell phones. Sept. 30 Valerie VanHorn, 28, of East Stroudsburg, Pa., was sentenced to one year probation. She pled guilty on July 5, 2011, to two counts of bad checks, a third-degree crime and a fourth-degree crime. Michael T. Maull, 22, of Sussex, was sentenced to four years probation, was ordered to serve 97 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility and was given credit for 97 days served. He must submit to a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations made, submit to random urine monitoring, attend AA/NA twice per week, pay total restitution to two victims in the amount of $6,370.55, pay total fines and penalties of $3,130 and submit a DNA sample at his expense. His New Jersey driving privileges were suspended for six months and he was ordered to have no contact with Clinton Mitschele. He pled guilty on July 11, 2011 to three counts of burglary, three counts of theft and two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, all crimes of the third degree. In pleading guilty, Maull admitted that between April 23, 2011 and May 12, 2011, he illegally entered structures in Hampton Township and Sandyston Township and took property from them. On May 14, 2011 in Wantage Township, he was found to be in possession of Heroin and Nucynta during a motor vehicle stop. Michael S. Bollen, 22, of Vernon, was sentenced to one year probation, was ordered to perform 50 hours community service, pay restitution in the amount of $274 and his driving privileges were suspended for 12 months. He must pay total fines and penalties of $655 and submit a DNA sample at his expense. He pled guilty on July 5, 2011 to unlawful taking of a means of conveyance, a crime of the fourth degree. In pleading guilty, Bollen admitted that he did not have his father's permission when he took his 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe and drove the SUV to Paterson on March 4, 2011. Andrew R. Fackrell, 20, of Hamburg, was sentenced to three years probation, was ordered to serve 110 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility and was given credit for 109 days served. He must submit to a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations made, submit to random urine monitoring, obtain gainful employment, pay total fines and penalties of $1,205 and submit a DNA sample at his expense. His New Jersey driving privileges were suspended for six months. He pled guilty on July 11, 2011 to possession of heroin, a crime of the third degree. In pleading guilty, Fackrell admitted that he possessed heroin on April 17, 2011 when police responded to his residence regarding a wellness check.
