    Newton - Stationing Sheriff’s Officer Scott Haggerty at the NJ Motor Vehicle Agency in Newton has paid off. Haggerty’s assignment was part of a cooperative grant between the County of Sussex and the Motor Vehicle Commission. On Dec. 21 at 12:35 p.m., Haggerty arrested Helaine M. Jentzen, 44, of Stillwater Township after a computer check revealed an outstanding bench warrant from the Jefferson Township Municipal Court. She was transported to the sheriff’s office for processing and posted bail. On Dec. 27 at 9 a.m., Haggerty arrested Flavio R. Martinex, 31, of Newark, and charged him with presenting a fictitious social security card for the purpose of obtaining a New Jersey driver’s license. He was charged with falsifying or tampering with records, a fourth degree offense. Martinez was released pending a future court date in the Newton Municipal Court.
