Sussex Tech, Curves join in relief effort

Sparta - Sussex County Technical School and Curves International combined efforts recently to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. The student council, National Honor Society and Key Club at Sussex Tech raised $889 by sponsoring “Jeans for New Orleans,” and other related fundraisers. On Monday, Oct. 17, Richele Thurston, of Curves International in Branchville, presented Sussex Tech with a check to match the amount raised by the students, bringing the total contribution to $1,778.
