Sussex Tech welcomes frosh with BBQ

    sparta - The School Based Youth Services Program at Sussex Tech (Student Center) hosted its 6th annual "Welcome Freshmen BBQ" on Tuesday, Sept. 13. Over 200 freshman students and their families attended and were treated to hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings. Families were given information about the services and programs the Student Center offers, and many families took advantage of the new beach volleyball court. The Student Center, in its 17th year, is a grant-funded program through the N.J. Dept. of Human Services. It provides free professional individual, group and family counseling and supervised after-school recreation for Sussex Tech teens.
