SussexBank announces three manager promotions
Sussex County - Donald L. Kovach, Chairman and CEO of SussexBank, has announced the promotion of three bank employees. Adrienne Bowden, former Manager of the Sparta office has been named Assistant Supervisor, Deposit Operations; Lynn Messina, former Manager of the Andover office will now manage the Sparta office; and Robin Tomlinson, former Assistant Branch Manager of the Newton office has been named Manager of the Andover office. Kovach said that the moves would allow the bank to leverage the experience of each individual as their responsibilities expand. “Adrienne, Lynn and Robin have each played an important role in the continued growth of our organization, and I’m pleased to recognize their contributions with these new assignments,” he said. Bowden joined SussexBank in 1999 and has served the bank’s retail division in a number of capacities. Her most recent position was branch manager of the Sparta office. Prior to joining SussexBank, Bowden served in the retail banking division of Midlantic Bank. Messina joined SussexBank in 1999 and has held numerous positions in the bank’s retail division. Prior to her promotion, she served as manager of the Andover branch. Her banking experience also includes retail positions with Provident Savings Bank in Jersey City. She attended Upsala College in East Orange, where she majored in accounting. Tomlinson joined SussexBank in 2005 and most recently served as assistant manager of the Newton Office. Her banking background includes assignments within the investments and operations divisions of State Street Bank in Quincy, Ill. She holds a B.S. in Sociology from Quincy University.
