Talk will explore effects of recent flooding

    HACKETTSTOWN — The Musconetcong Watershed Association is taking the River Talk Series on the road with a presentation titled 'The Floods of 2011’ to be held at the Hackettstown Municipal Building on Tuesday, Jan. 31. For this presentation the organization’s guest speaker will be Robert Reiser of the United States Geological Service (USGS) NJ Water Science Center. Reiser will discuss the record breaking flooding in the area and explain the many interesting uses of the data collected by the USGS, which maintains three gauges on the Musconetcong River.
