Task Force on Women and Addiction conference
Well-Known author is keynote speaker at conference, addressing “Creating Serenity in a Fearful World” Newton n Author Litany Burns will be keynote speaker at the Center for Prevention and Counseling’s Task Force on Women and Addiction’s 21st annual conference at the Lake Mohawk Country Club on May 31. This year’s conference will focus on “Creating Serenity in a Fearful World.” Roseann Cervelli will also speak. The conference will present workshops, performances by the New Jersey Mental Health Players and exhibitors from local agencies and businesses. The cost is $50 with a continental breakfast and buffet lunch. Continuing Education credits include six professional development hours for teachers and educational personnel, CADC recertification credit (to receive this credit, participants must be present for the full conference and sign in and out) and LPC credit. Social workers may apply for board credits. Limited full and partial scholarships are available; contact Tiffany at the Center for Prevention and Counseling, 973-383-4787, no later than May 18.
