Byram - Byram Girl Scout Troop 645 of the Lenni-Lenape Council recently held a “World Thinking Day” at the Byram Intermediate School.  Approximately 180 Girl Scouts ranging in ages from 5 to16 attended this event. The girls were each given a “passport” and were able to visit 16 different countries from Italy to Egypt that were mimicked by different troops.  As the girls visited each country, the girls could try different foods, make crafts such as a dutch hat or an origami sheep and could learn different dances such as the Macarena. “World Thinking Day” is an annual event for the girls to think about other Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world.  The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) reaches 10 million girls and young women in 144 countries around the globe.
