Verizon expands local wireless service

Morristown - Verizon Wireless has expanded its network with two new cell sites to serve Sussex County residents. One new site will improve network coverage and capacity in Hampton, between Newton and Ross Corner, and along Routes 206 and 94. The second site, located in West Milford, serves the entire Greenwood Lake community in Sussex and Passaic counties in New Jersey and Orange County, N.Y. “Our New Jersey customers are among the most demanding and tech savvy in the nation,” said Charles Hand, president of the company’s New York metro region. “Verizon Wireless continues to efficiently invest in network enhancements to deliver the reliable and innovative services our customers want.”
