VIP room newest attraction at ‘Wine and Roses'

NEWTON — The Newton Memorial Hospital Foundation would like to invite members of the public to attend its newest attraction at Sussex County’s premiere social event, An Evening of Wine and Roses: A VIP room featuring a celebrity chef and special gifts. Held at the Sussex County Fairground’s Floral Conservatory, An Evening of Wine and Roses will include gourmet cuisine tastings prepared by 34 local restaurants, which have graciously donated their staff and food for the March 15 event. All proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Newton Memorial Hospital Foundation. VIP room attendees can enjoy private time with celebrity chef and author Lidia Bastianich and walk away with a gift bag including a signed copy of her latest cookbook. Our guests can also enjoy delicious passed hors d’oeuvres and the region’s finest wines and spirits. Many who attend the fundraiser consider it one of the finest social gatherings in Sussex County, often attended by more than 600 people. All guests can also enter a raffle to win a week in Napa Valley for two, a package that includes airfare and accommodations. The event costs $125 per person.
