Volunteers are needed

Much of Byram Township’s success results from the efforts of our citizens. We depend upon volunteers to provide guidance and service on many boards and committees. All citizens are encouraged to actively participate in the government of our town. The Byram Township Council will be making appointments at their July reorganization meeting. Residents wishing to volunteer are asked to send a resume and cover letter no later than May 31 to: Byram Municipal Building, Office of the Township Clerk, 10 Mansfield Drive, Stanhope, NJ 07874. Letters and resumes may also be faxed to: 973-347-0502. The Township Boards and Committees are: Board of Health, Architectural Review Committee, Land Use Board, Recreation Committee, Environmental Commission, Open Space Committee, and Youth Guidance Council.
