Volunteers needed

Newtown - The Sussex County State Health Insurance Assistance Program (S.H.I.P.) is looking for volunteers to leam the complexities of the Medicare program and related insurance plans so they can help those on Medicare get accurate health care informatiorL S.H.I.P. provides an in-depth training program designed to give volunteers the answers and resources for questions they may encounter. The next five-day training course is scheduled for Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27 and Nov. 3. Up-to-the-minute information is an integral part of the State Health Insurance Assistance Program services, and ongoing support and resources keep counselors current with respect to Medicare provisions and services.
